We truly experienced the Silverstone magic last weekend with one of the best races in recent history. The incident on the first lap is a testament to how incredibly safe these cars are as Zhou Guanyu walked away without injury from his terrifying crash. British home favorite Lewis Hamilton made it to the final step of the podium to make it two third-place finishes in a row. The title contenders suffered a painful afternoon with Charles Leclerc’s strategy failing him after Ferrari decided not to pit him under the safety car – he finished fourth. Max Verstappen’s Red Bull suffered bodywork damage early in the race which cost him a massive performance loss. In the end, he was battling to finish seventh, just in front of Mick Schumacher who scored his first-ever Formula 1 point!
